Visit the Elderly (Friday afternoons)

You are invited!

Contact Natalie if you are interested in joining us for this weekly ministry. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so please click on the photo to see the Wednesday night dinner when our friends from the retirement community joined us!

The residents love us!

"The residents of  the retirement community look forward to us coming all week! They even make sure to wear all their Wake  Forest gear on Thursdays to show their support. We leave campus around three and are usually back by five. We normally play trivia or bingo with the residents. So I hope you all will consider joining us at the nursing home!"

-Natalie, Organizer

What we do

We go to Clemmons Village II to play board games and trivia with the residents who are all decked out in their wake forest gear especially for us! Rides will be provided; we will be back around 5pm. [

Poem
This is a poem written by a resident of the community who thoroughly enjoys our weekly visits.

We look forward to Fridays

Because that's when the Wake Forest Kids come

driving up.

We look forward to each Friday

It helps to make for our nice weekends

The Wake Forest kids come driving up and that's when the fun begins!

They help us to play Bingo

And ask the trivia questions too,

We do alright playing Bingo

But the trivia questions are taboo.

We are fortunate to have them

To come and help us out,

For they are the finest

That goes without a doubt.

We wish them all the best

In all their major tests,

Just remember always

The best comes tot he best!

We love you all!
